First movie, The Iron Lady, which is about the life of UK former PM, Margaret Thatcher. She is an incredible woman whom until now, is the only woman who has ruled UK in the longest serving period. Her love for her country and her courage to stand up for what is right are really amazing and thus the title, Iron Lady has been attached to her since.

My second movie, The Lady tells story about the Burmese heroine, Aung San Suu Kyi who has sacrificed most of her lifetime to fight for democracy for her country. The immeasureable sacrifice that she has made, her long separation from her family and her 15 years of detainment in her own house, her will to keep on fighting has become an inspiration to many.

I really love the two movies very much and would recommend every woman to watch them. It's not easy to be a woman, especially a woman leader. Tons of sacrifice are made behind and still they have to remain strong in front so that many will have faith in them.
I personally feel that as a woman, we need to think what do we really want in life? We need to have our own identity, personality and career but at the same time we need to take good care of the family. It's definitely aint easy tasks. I believe everything in life is about balancing, balance between work and family, balance between ourselves and family, balance in educating between disciplinary and love etc. And honestly, BALANCE is the hardest part.
After both movies, I went for some groceries and on the way back, stop by this lovely cakes shop nearby my place :) Have been itching to visit the shop and guess what? Ended up by getting a box of macarons and a cupcake for Val hehehehe....All to ourselves *grin

Your little gal is enjoying her macarons..
