A week went by adjusting to the new environment, new eating and sleeping habits. Val was so cranky for the past week as she was coughing and having flu again. She refused to eat and drink as per normal, so only milk can help solve problem. She also wakes up very early in the morning, 6.30 am, sometimes even 5.30 am, disrupting everybody sleep time. Not sure whether it's normal for toddler who travels behaving this way. Maybe she misses her dad in Singapore too. A few days after she arrived in Medan, she still looks for Daddy everytime she wakes up and also look for her uncles hehehe...
New habit developed in Medan is to go 'gai gai' (going out) everyday. Sometimes, she refused to take her nap before Grandpa brings her out, even a ride in car will satisfy her. It's like a new contract signed between Grandpa and her, she will automatically look for Grandpa when she wakes up in the morning, and say 'gai gai' then 'che che' (car). She wants a ride in the car. And mommy starts to worry when we get back to Sing, hope she doesn't remember about this particular habit. *wink
